Supermarket buying alliancs attract probe by French Competition Authority

The French Competition Authority has opened investigations into three supermarket-purchasing agreements. The first is between Auchan, Casino, Métro and Schiever, the second is between Carrefour and Système U and the third is between Carrefour and Tesco.
