Leader Price to be bought by Aldi

The Casino Group confirmed on September 19 the existence of discussions with the Aldi France group concerning the acquisition of Leader Price. This scenario, if successful, would allow Casino to deleverage in accordance with its divestment plan, and Aldi to recover a large fleet of stores at once to compete with Lidl.
